Miss Marmalade - Brunswick
A fabulous family-friendly find, off the beaten track in groovy Brunswick. There's 5 senses coffee, fantastic food, home baked treats, a play-room out the back for little ones complete with chalkboard, toys, games and books. Oh and great changing facilities too and even complimentary nappies and wipes in case of emergencies.

The Farm Cafe - Collingwood (located at the Collingwood Children’s Farm)
Sit back relax, and pretend you are in the country on your own farm, enjoy some fresh air, eat some tasty organic food, and let the kids run wild...all still within a few km of the city. There are highchairs, a change table, ample room for prams, a dedicated kid’s menu with tasty treats and even a kids drink menu with baby-cino’s and mini milkshakes.

Happy River Cafe - Footscray
A very cute, very family friendly cafe with lots of outdoor space, room for prams, highchairs, toys, books and fun play things. Definitely made with kids in mind - it makes for happy little ones and happier parents. Order the little ones some fairy bread or little boys with sauce, grab your latte (or a cheeky champers), some mats and cushions and settle in for the arvo on their lush green lawn. And if the sun is shining there’s complimentary sunscreen for you to use too.

Jerry’s Milkbar - Elwood
A relaxed local cafe come milkbar with very good food and coffee that especially caters for the kids. There’s a fun vintage vibe, highchairs, a kid’s play area in the lovely courtyard out the back and toy’s galore. There’s a kid’s menu too, spiders, milkshakes, baby-cino’s ... and of course, the famous old school lolly counter. Perfect for a little treat... or bribe!

Replete Providore - Hawthorn
Very welcoming to the little ones! Replete Providore offer one of the most extensive and healthy kids menu around. The staff are lovely and friendly, there’s highchairs, babycinos and sweet little lolly cupcakes. Great food and coffee for the parents too (you MUST try the ricotta hotcakes - heaven!) and delicious home made providore items and gourmet take home meals for sale... just in case Mamma needs a night off!
