Colour Palette: Pink, White, Grey

I work on Wednesday and Thursday's so posting something tends to be hard unless I get super organised. So, I have decided on Wednesday's I will post photo's of a party or dessert table with a particular colour palette to give you all some inspiration and ideas. So today's dessert table comes from Delicious Desserts and Desiree Spinner Events.

zoe's christening: white and lemon theme

As promised, here are some photo's I took of Zoe's christening dessert table and some decorations in the marquee. There were much more desserts that people brought, but this is the set up I had for the cake and lollies for the kids to fill up and take home. The images aren't the best quality as the weather was dark and cold outside, but it gives you an idea of how it looked and it really did look lovely. My colour theme was white and lemon and i'm happy the way it turned out, it was really fun decorating everything. I can't wait to start organising Zoe's first birthday party which will be a pink theme.

The banner got loose and was hanging lower
than I wanted it to, but I then changed it and
hanged it above the table.
I filled the jars with honeycomb, milk bottles
 and bananas.
The cake was from Ferguson Plare, who I must say have a
great collection of gorgeous cake's to choose
from or create. I made the pom-poms myself and hung
them around the marquee.
I bought the little tealight candle holders from Target.
The marquee was decked out in white and
yellow pom poms, balloon's, white chinese lanterns and yellow streamers.

Hope you liked the photo's and I apologise for the quality.
I will have much better photo's from Zoe's birthday party next month.

another pretty dessert table

Hello everyone, just thought i'd let you know that I have not forgotten you this past week but have been nursing my 10 month old and her ear infection/new tooth breaking through/starting back at work part-time. It has been a tiring and frustrating week but things are slowly getting back to normal and hopefully all falls into place.

I did manage to find this gorgeous dessert table via Save the date for Cupcakes blog.
Just can't get enough of them and Zoe's christening is looming...3 weeks away!!

Enjoy!

The Ice-Cream Parlour

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! Our days have been filled with family get together's pretty much every day since Christmas. It's been great but oh so tiring..
This is the reason it's been a little quiet on Little Sooti the past couple of days.
Not too worry, I have found this gorgeous Ice Cream Parlour themed party that is just divine! I am starting to organise Zoe's christening for March 2010 and i'm thinking of going with a pastel pink colour theme, i'm thinking white marquee in backyard, hanging pink Martha Stewart Pom Poms, Pink Balloons and a dessert buffet table.
This will be my inspiration!
