{real parties} we're going on a bear hunt

Today we have another lovely "book" inspired party theme sent in to us by Virginie from That Cute Little Cake blog. The theme, 'Were going on a bear hunt". This is another of my daughters favourite book and I think that Virginie did a great job. Take a look at all the cute details below.

The lovely girls over at Scissor Paper Cake never
cease to amaze me with their gorgeous parties.
A team made in heaven, Hello Naomi

{Little Sooti} Superhero Party

We are thrilled to see our SUPERHERO party created for 6 year old birthday boy Daniel featured on Amy Atlas Blog this morning, here are the rest of the pics for your viewing pleasure. This was really a fun theme and the invitation and printables created by Li-Ann of Ham & Pea really set the whole colour theme for me. All 23 kids had there own personal cape, mask and wrist band hand made by Sweet Tashie, they all got to choose their very own 'superhero' name tag and they just LOVED the telephone booth we made!

The kids got a special visit from Batman himself and they were so excited and that kept them entertained for a while. Each child got their own lunchbox and 'super juice', had a colouring page as a placemat in which they got to colour in at the table. After lunch we sang happy birthday, cut the cake and got to enjoy the delicious cake, cookies and cupcakes by Just Call Me Martha, some kryptonite jelly, popcorn and swizzle sticks provided by The Little Big Company. The kids just loved sitting at their table with the cute little bubble chairs from Tiny Tables and Chairs. We also had the lovely Laura of Laura Cioccia Photography come and photograph it all for us. All in all, the weather was perfect, the birthday boy and his friends had a SUPER fun day!!!

{Real Parties} Space-Themed Birthday

This super cool Space-Themed Party was created
by the talented Sarah of Crackers Art & Design.
It was Sarah's first attempt at creating a 'candy buffet' and she was very
happy with the result. It looks fantastic Sarah!

Sarah created a space rocket cake from the ever so popular Women's Weekly Cake Book,
complete with sparklers for "lift off". There were space themed activities, pass-the-parcel, there
was star-shaped cookies, sace jelly, red and blue cupcakes and popcorn.

Thanks for sharing Sarah, a great boy's party theme!
